Nathan Bransford - The Forums

Just wondering if any of you have ever submitted anything to Oprah's Book Club? I self-published last year, and I'm still working on promoting myself and my book. I'm not even sure if my novel would suit the OBC, but it's worth a try isn't it? Better to have submitted and lost than to have never submitted at all.
If anybody has any previous experience and/or suggestions it might make for a good forum discussion.

I think the basic feeling about Oprah's book club is that you don't find her, she finds you.

But there must still be some submissions sent in, aren't there? There must still be a process if you wanted to try.

Not that I'm aware of.
