I like both threads, so here's my effort to put this one back on track.
This one's obviously derivative (but not a parody like the last one) and if you can identify the original nursery rhyme, then you'll probably be dating yourself a bit.
STORIES AND WRITERS
What are good stories made of made of
What are good stories made of
Minds with sails and many old tales
That’s what good stories are made of
We peer at screens type many things
That’s what good writers are made of
Lives we’ve loved and hearts of blood
That’s what good stories are made of
Plot and voice those are our choice
That’s what good writers are made of
Death and grief happy times so brief
That’s what good stories are made of
Splices and commas fix ‘em tomarra
That’s what good writers are made of
Snips and spice and always a price
That’s what good stories are made of
Ins and outs ourselves we do doubt
That’s what good writers are made of
Sugar and snails and many new tales
That’s what good stories are made of

Robert Southey (1774-1843) "What All the World is Made of" circa 1820, though probably predating him as a popular oral tradition ditty.

First stanza;
What are little babies made of, made of?
What are little babies made of?
Diapers and crumbs and sucking their thumbs;
That's what little babies are made of.

What are little boys made of?
Frogs and snails and puppy dog tales
That's what little boys are made of.
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice and everything nice
That's what little girls are made of.
