I wrote most of my first novel powered by Swedish Fish. Five pounds later, I now try to stick to tea, mineral water and popcorn. But sometimes, only the Fish will do.

I don't eat while I write, thank goodness. (I eat enough while I'm not writing - and I really can't resist chips). But I do bring up a delicious cup of tea, and then when I go to drink it, it's already gone. Yes, I drink it without noticing, wasting it. Bah. I hate it. Related but not an addiction, I do the same thing with removing my watch. I never know I'm doing it, but whenever I go to leave the keyboard, I'm no longer wearing my watch. Weird, eh?
