Writing is often a strange habit that feels like you are talking with yourself! Our website, statebystate.net, started much the same. My wife and I began writing it so that our friends and family could read about our travels and stay connected. It didn't take long to realize that none of them read anything on the site! We just kept writing though and shifted our focus to strangers reading it instead of friends and family. It took years, but eventually we built an audience. So hang in there. Keep writing even though you don't know who is reading it because one day, someone will stumble upon your site and read all those posts. You never know how long it will take or who that person will be, but it can happen. In fact today, that person will be me:)
