Me. And I have no outline. Just a vague character idea and a misty sort of plot. I'm gonna wing it and see what happens...

Good for you! That's often the best way.

I'm in. Just registered. Now I have a day and a half to decide which of 3 potential novels to write.... Anything that gets my mind off the query process I'm in right now is a good thing, so no goals other than having something else to obsess, I mean focus on for the next month.

Cheekychook,
How do you decide? I had three (okay four, but that one, I need a break from, and to go slow when I pick up again, so it went off the table)
projects that all wanted to be this year's NANOWRIMO.
Finally, I'm letting the one with the most plot and character development have at it. It's been hard not to already start it.
But I am still torn, thinking, maybe I could do two (which would be totally nuts!).
Let us know what you decide if you want. Will you be using the same handle?
Hope you have the best of fun.

No idea how I'm going to decide---I can argue reasons why each of the 3 would be "the one" I should choose.
No, I'm not using the same handle, largely because I want to keep the option of joining a local NaNo group without "outing" my online self. (cue spy music)
I will gladly share updates about success/failure/stress/wrist cramps/storyline with anyone here who wants to know.

Well, I have about a 1400 word rough outline ready and waiting. Sometimes I wonder if it's smart to set aside my current WIP to do something I will never look at again, but it's kind of fun.

If you really can't decide, there's always the "roll a dice" option. :) And I LOVE that quote.

I wrestled with it, but I signed up for NaNoWriMo this year. This will be my third time doing it. I wasn't going to but I've been editing my current WIP for so long and I think I need a break to recharge my creative juices. I don't know how much I'll get done, but here we go. I'm in.
Anyone wants to find me on the website, I've signed up under the screen name: tellgreatstories
I'll still be cheerleading for everyone though!
