Nathan Bransford - The Forums

I've used a different technique for just about every project. The only one that I've done strictly in order from start to finish was my second novel, but I think that was because the thing flew out of my in only four weeks (and that included minor revising/editing along the way). I'll bounce around, but only when necessary, and only if I know there will be little to change once I fill in any gaps. Each project is unique, though, and I try to do what is best for the story.
