I love this topic!
My WIP playlist is really heavy on Jeff Buckley with some older Matt Nathanson, some Pete Yorn, a little Laura Stevenson, and snatches of Iron & Wine, Lykke Li, Something Corporate, and Jeff Bridges (from the Crazy Heart soundtrack). It ends fantastically with "You Can Call Me All" by Paul Simon.
