Adventure/Fantasy Agent.

Yeah the title says it all. Can I have their names or blogs so that I can begin looking for who I like? My novel is a Fantasy Novel with a word count of 105k.

Sorry for asking it here because I already tried looking in the internet but I'm not so sure if they are genuine or not...

You can start at http://www.publishersmarketplace.com -- that's a legit site to find agents.

Do yourself a favor, though. Worry first about getting that book polished until you can see your face in it before you query or you will be hurting your chances.

After that, there are lots of good sites that have lists of agents. www.agentquery.com is a good one, but that book needs alpha testing before you start shipping off pages or even querying.

Thanks again Mark! You are my savior! I'm just gathering everything up so that when the novel is ready, I'll be up to speed. I will tell you that, I am not sending any query letters yet because I know there is still much work to be done for my novel...

I'd never had made it through agent searching and querying without the use of QueryTracker.net ---you can search agents by genre, read comments, see stats about the agent, and the agency blog is always listed as well as links to interviews the agent has done----then you can use it to make your list and make notes and track which ones you sent queries to and what the status of the query is. Huge time saver when the time comes. Also, never send anything to any agent or editor without first looking them up on Predators and Editors http://pred-ed.com/ It's a site that looks out for writers and will give you a head up if anyone has an even remotely shady deal in their past.
