I found The Subtle Knife was my favourite in that series. I'm now reading the Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke. A childhood fav.MattLarkin wrote:The Golden Compass

I finished the Golden Compass the other day. I enjoyed it, though not enough to put the sequels high on my TBR list. They're on there, but I have a lot of other things to read in the mean time. However, hearing you say that, makes me rethink my stance.writersink wrote:I found The Subtle Knife was my favourite in that series. I'm now reading the Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke. WHITE HORSE by Alex Adams. I'm four pages in and practically tingling with excitement. Literary dystopian.

Currently reading BROTHER ODD By Dean Koontz.
I have never read anything of his before, but a friend let me borrow his copy. He said I would really like it. So far it's been pretty awesome.

I can't read multiple books at once. It's hard enough to read for my crit group, read for another friend, write my own, and read a book for fun!
Currently reading Anne Nesbit's CABINET OF EARTHS.

OK. I've recently finished reading my first Dean Koontz novel - BROTHER ODD. I am his newest fan. Wow, the man can write!
