CREATE SPACE---are you using it? Did you switch from LS?

I'm curious if anyone here has made the switch from Lightning Source to Create Space and how your experience has been with CS.

Did you raise the price of your book or books when you switched?

Did Amazon discount your book when you switched?

Well, I'm actually going the other way. Or at least, I'm keeping my CreateSpace edition and will also be publishing through Lightning Source.

The main reason for that is the shipping costs to Europe. Lightning Source will print in the UK, which will save me a good deal, and I'll use that to fulfill orders. Are you currently with LS?

Yes, I've been with LS for 4 years. I've done well, but the Out of Stock issue with Amazon is maddening when you use LS to print. So I'm exploring going with Create Space for Amazon, but would like to raise the price of the book, even tho I'd like to keep it the same with LS.

And I like what you say about LS with the UK. I'll stick with LS when I get translations done for my book for that very reason.
