No doubt, Ink. I would say I'm sorry, Lisa, but you would know it was a lie. How about if I just say that as a former SD resident and Charger season ticket holder, I feel your pain? It was one of those games that could easily have gone the other way, and looked like it would for most of the first half. I can't believe the Jets are still rolling.

Somebody, pinch me please! On second thought, if I am dreaming, don't wake me until after the Super Bowl.

Bring on the Colts...
and go Jets!

What, no smack talk? Go Jets!

Tzalaran, we will know by the end of the day whether or not the Bucs curse holds. Go Saints!

Have a happy football Sunday, fans. Except for you, Knight+tour. <g>

Good game, Knight_Tour! Congratulations! Peyton poured on the Manning magic in the second half, but I'll bet we had you worried there for a while.

On the bright side, My hub, the Bronx Italian, won't be listening to NY sports radio all week and I won't have to hear "ground and pound" five hundred more times between now and the SuperBowl!

Okay, that was a hard way for my Vikings to lose. Can I just tape over the memory of that field goal?

The Bucco Bruce curse could still hold up, and from what i saw today the Saints won't beat the Colts.

Our local channels have been out for over a month, so i didn't get to watch any of the playoff games until halftime of the Jets/Colts game today. Some really good football and i was glad to watch as a fan of the game. NFC championship was one of the best in memory (at least back to the Bucs Eagles for me).
I'd rather hate myself for failing, than hate my life for never having tried.

Thanks. Your defense is tough, so if Peyton had been off his game...

Anyhow, though I am glad to be going to the Superbowl, I still would have been happier if we had attempted a perfect season.

The Saints looked sort of ho-hum today to me. I hope the Colts play as well against them as we did these past two weeks.

Sorry, Ink. I didn't watch the game, but I heard it should have gone the other way.

Knight, I now have to flip leagues and cheer for the Saints. Otherwise my Gulf Coast relatives will disown me. So....here's to a memorable Superbowl, however it goes.

Rose,

Well, it seemed like we were the better team... but we turned the ball over. A lot. That's football, I guess.

Ack, I suddenly had to fly to London, so now I need to find a good place to watch the big game...
