The Princess Bride and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

I guess I'm in a whimsical, nostalgic mood.

I just read through the old Kiplinger investment in 1999, what now seems like a very stupid comments written a book. There is a chapter on the purchase of mortgage-backed securities and Fannie Mae is the sweetest thing ever touted. The overall tone of the book ignores all of the risks of debt, and shows how math can make your home more money, through additional loans to invest in other things. Protest against the payment of cash or get a 15-year mortgage the house, because you can spend so much money, if you have a 30-year loan.

He Typed, She Typed by Amy Turner and Mark Van Wye. So amusing. A light and fluffy read for when you have lost all faith in relationships

Just finished reading Scott Nicholson's 'The Indy Journey' and have posted about why I think so many have deemed this book essential reading for self-publishers...

I'm in the middle of "Kingdom Under Glass" by Jay Kirk, and it's great. It's about the taxidermist behind the turn-of-the-century wildlife installations at various Natural History Museums. Fascinating stuff - although all the animal-killing is almost too much to bear.
