This may or may not be the right forum location for this question. I would have posted this in Queries, but I think this is a more general topic for discussion. My question is, has anybody else used WeBooks AgentInBox web site? (The site link is http://www.webook.com/literary-agents/writers.aspx)
I thought this site was a great idea, since they appear to have legitimate agents who receive electronic submissions (screened by the Webooks own staff) to meet their requested submission requirements. The web form lets you put in a query, synopsis, first 5 to more pages, and then your author information.
This all seems ideal, but I submitted to 9 agents through the site in early July and heard back from only one agent. (A polite 'no thanks') Am I submitting queries during the vacation months for these agents and I'm just not getting their eyeballs yet?
Anyone out there had any experiences to relate about this site? Just would like to get some feedback from other writers and not the usual 'we're great, really!' ad line. Much appreciated.
