A Dance with Dragons - George R.R. Martin
Re: What are you reading now?
I'm jumping back and forth between Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles and K.A. Stewart's Jesse James Dawson books. Both are fantastic selections! Really enjoying them.

Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone.
My problem is NOT paying attention to the movie scenes to concentrate on JK's wordsmithing. I'm impressed with how she wrote it for young people but still left it interesting to adults.

Lord help me, I'm *still* reading Game of Thrones.
As soon as I'm done, I'm getting a slew of YA books from the library so I can knock them off my TBR list. I've decided that having one book suck up at least two months in the summer is unacceptable. Lesson learned and next year I will plan accordingly.
Hmm... anyone else's reading habits change with the seasons? Something for me to think about...

I'm re-reading SHIVER by Maggie Stiefvater, then LINGER, in preparation for finally settling down with FOREVER. I love her writing: it's so lyrical and poetic. She's got a great style.

Last Sacrifice, Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. I absolutely LOVE this author. I mean... wow.

@GKJeyasingham love Woolf! I hope you enjoy it. I read her books over and over. The Waves has more underlines and post its than pages. Also Munro I have a fantastic story about a much beloved collection of stories I had by her. Wonderful.
Currently reading, The Twenty-Seventh City by Johnathan Franzen. Interesting story, sometimes feel like I'm missing the point. Help?

Just finished The Emerald Atlas by John Stephens. I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but it was a delight to read. Great MG adventure!

Just finished Key to Midnight by Dean Koontz. Currently reading Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay by Michael Chabon and The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.
I'm fascinated by Historian. The slow pace makes it realistic and thereby interesting, but slowness of pace also sometimes makes me put it down. But I keep picking it back up.

I've read THE HISTORIAN, and I agree that it is for sure a slower paced book. But it's FABULOUS! Just keep reading, because I think you will like it. Kostova is a very generous writer and gives you what you want out of the story. At least she did for me.
