Peace Blogfest September 2011

Post by Aimée » July 2nd, 2011, 6:23 pm

I am hosting a blogfest in September to help spread the word about and to celebrate International Peace Day, 21 September. It has been adopted by every country in the UN since 2001, yet not many people seem to be aware of it.

I would love for my writer blogger friends to join up and participate in this blogfest! It is only three days long, but I hope it will make even the slightest impact in promoting nonviolence and peace. Even if you are unable to participate, it would be great if you could grab my badge and paste it on your blog!

Thanks, and here is the link! http://aimeebeatricejodoin.blogspot.com ... -2011.html

I would love to join, but sadly I do not have a blog. Yet. I may have one by Sept., but we'll see.

It's a good reason to start one, don't you think? ;)

And even if you haven't yet started one, I'm sure some of us could find space for a guest post... :)

It is indeed a good reason to start. I think what is keeping me is I'm not quite sure what to call my blog. I also don't know what format to use. I have a blogger account, but I'm kind of leaning towards wordpress. This will need more studying.

Are you sure you want me to guest post?

I suppose it does. Then why aren't I rich and famous yet? I consistently boldly go where no man (or woman) has ever gone before.

Sigh. If only I knew... any day now, perhaps?

Alright! I'm starting one. Just need to figure out what my post will be about. Something brilliant of course. 8-)

Sigh. If only I knew... any day now, perhaps?
Do you think it will happen in the next five minutes?

Um, also, the code for the peace blogfest badge thing was wrong, but I fixed it! Before, it linked to the Photobucket picture (facepalm), but now it is correct and links back to the sign up page. If you copied the code already, I would recommend recopying it... Sorry.
