Browsing through Mr. Bransford's forums for the first time, I found this section and thought I'd send out the worksheet I made back in my film writing grad program. I discuss it in a bit more detail here , and am also attaching a screenshot here. The actual Doc file i's available on my website in the tools section.
It helps divide a story into acts, sequences, and lets you write little notes, etc. into it. Hope it helps and I'd love any feedback or advice! This topic might be a good place to list any other worksheets/files of similar helpfulness?

Re: Helpful Synopsis Worksheet
Philip, this is fantastic! I'm about to start writing my synopsis and I've been banging my head off the wall for days not knowing where to even begin. So, so, so helpful. Thanks for sharing.
I'll let you know how the synopsis worksheet helps me when I'm done with my synopsis. Ah, you're a genius :)
I also downloaded your agent spreadsheet - another awesome tool.

Re: Helpful Synopsis Worksheet
I thought I'd pass around the manuscript word count tool I use when trying to estimate how long my total manuscript is. Some might say pouring over these numbers is totally silly, but I can't help myself.
You need an outline to make it work--you input your word counts for what you have completed so far, your outline, and number of words in your outline that have been turned into actual manuscript pages.
You can download the actual file on my website.
Hope you get a kick out of it :)
