My goal for the weekend? 12k. Keep me to it. :)

No, really. I have to catch up in NaNo. 12k. I know I can do it.

I've done it before...but I've been busy and full of writing paralysis lately. So cheer me on. Please. :)

You can do it. And remember: blog and forum posts count. Really. They do.

I'm not doing NaNo, but I am trying to churn out a freaking synopsis this weekend. Arghhhh. Wish me luck as well.

Eh, my NaNoWriMo seems to have become IGoEditMo. So I'll try and channel my NaNo powers over to you. At least they'll be put to good use. :)

Down the well: What about Twitter? Cause I have some mad word count there. ;)

Fenris: Yes, send me all kinds of NaNo vibes. And a Monster drink. That would help, too. (I think. I've never actually tried those energy drinks.)

Quill: I imagined pom poms. Just sayin'. :)

Thank you guys! I really do need the focus this weekend...this is all I got done last week. ;) http://www.reganleigh.com/?p=1805

They're actually pretty nasty--reminiscent of battery acid (this is my imagination at work. I've never actually tried battery acid ;) ). But if you're looking for a cheap energy drink, three-parts soda, one-part Gatorade works pretty well, and doesn't taste all that bad surprisingly. Better than Monster at least.

Yes! Of course. Just call it dialogue and throw it in. It's all good. You can always edit later. :)

*Cheers!* You can do it!

Meh, 12K is nothing when you're excited about what you're writing. If whatever part your writing isn't exciting, jump to the next exciting bit and work from there :-)
May the word counts be ever in your favor. http://www.sommerleigh.com

I was aiming for 11k this weekend and I did it---11,265. Did you make it to 12??? If I'd gotten to count all the messages I sent I'd have been at 22k instead. Crazy. My son was complaining about a 5 page essay, then he looked at my nano count and said "Didn't you have 25k on friday??" When I said yes and he realized I'd written over 10k words in a little over a day he gave me an enthusiastic "Go mom!" :)

Wow, good luck! I have to catch up on NaNo too, by about the same amount. Well, I'm still deciding if I'm actually going to finish...
