We spend a lot of time trying to keep cliches out of our writing, and trying to create something original. When I am reading a book review I tend to get annoyed when they apply a cliched term to a novel. So pick some Book Review Cliches that bug you and provide a healthier alternative for all the reviewers out there.

Over Used - This book is a non-stop rollercoaster ride of thrills.
Instead - This book is more exciting than chasing a wheel of cheese down a steep hill into a pit full of giant mice.
