Requesting advice and suggestions for my first book "The Adopted Daughter"

Post by dnjeruus » October 2nd, 2024, 7:27 am

Hello,

My name is Diana Njeru a Kenyan citizen currently in Kenya. I have been thinking about writing a book and was unsure whether to put all my ideas and thoughts on paper. After weeks of pondering, I finally decided to open my laptop and start typing.
Since mid-September till today, I have written over 70 pages close to 35,000 words. This is my first time to take on the task of writing. I am quite worried, but it is the fact of having the determination, devotion, and confidence that has given me the courage to start writing.
I hope to get your advice and suggestions on the first 70 pages of my book called "The Adopted Daughter" I have attached the copy.

Thank you.
Diana Njeru

If you haven’t already, consider creating an outline. This can help you organize your thoughts and ensure a coherent flow throughout your book.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I have actually started writing the book and have currently reached Chapter 37, have three more chapters to go and the book will be finished. I uploaded my book on Webnovel and have received collections and my book has been recommended. I am hoping to have more recommendations and an opportunity to get it published. Let me know if you wish to read it and will send you a copy.

I think when you start writing a book, you should be determined and live your passion. Think simpler and don't hesitateGeometry Dash Lite Just start and slowly develop your ideas to get the complete story.

Thank you Lawrence for your reply and advice.

I have actually started writing the book and have even gotten an opportunity to have a chapter or two published every week. Thus far have written 40 chapters with the hope of completing the book soon.

I have also come up with five titles and new ideas for my next books. I have already started writing the second one, so hopefully all will go well.

Thank you
Diana
