Non Fiction Critique

Hi All
I have written a non fiction book on self building your own home.
I have tried to make it non technical and so would appreciate non technical feedback.
It does cover green issues, professionals and the actual build part.
Most of my experience is in UK,Australia and Europe and so would love input from USA based writers.
It is not a "hard read" honest.
