While being self-pubbed or un-pubbed has its drawbacks, it also has its advantages. You have all the time you need.

I managed to bust out a chapter in one day to meet my Web Series Writing Month deadline. :) Here's the index to the story.

10 Story Index

10.05 isn't high art - it's not the language fireworks of the introduction to 10.04. But it works, and I think that this part of the story called for more plain straightforward sensory writing.

Contest! Win a First-page Critique from an Agent

Post by Krista G. » August 17th, 2010, 10:17 am

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have a contest running on my blog through Monday, August 23. Come up with a catchy title for my WIP, and you could win a query and/or first-page critique from one of these four agents:

Amy Boggs of Donald Maass Literary Agency
Sarah LaPolla of Curtis Brown, Ltd.
Andrea Somberg of Harvey Klinger, Inc.
Marissa Walsh of FinePrint Literary Management

Here's the link to the contest post: http://motherwrite.blogspot.com/2010/08 ... ntest.html

I'd love to see you over there!

I re-did the look and layout of my blog. It feels more "me". And I'm still having a contest to win a query critique by me. :-)

Thanks, Robin! Blue and green are my favorite colors. I think because I have kind of a big personality and I tend to get an idea and run with it, but I sometimes lose focus as a result. I need something to cool/calm me down. I have a picture of bluish-grey rocks as the background on my computer, and I have to admit, I love my rocks.
