Fully dressed, mostly. On weekends I'm in duds and sometimes a hat or skull cap. But I write between projects at work, so it's more formal normally. Which is to say, jeans, collar shirt, shoes, combed coif.

PJ's, for sure. But maybe I'm just lazy. I write until around 2-3am, then my toddler wakes up at around 10am, and I write on and off during the day - still in my pyjamas.

I get dressed at around 5pm so that when my husband comes home, it looks like I might have actually gone outside during the day ;)
Wow Jaime this is exactly what I do!!! Funny how we get dressed just so our husbands don't think we are lazy! :)

It depends. I live in a hot climate so I tend shower first and write in a towel, if I can't wait to get started. Other than that, I toss on a T-shirt.

If we're having a cold snap, I get dressed after my shower. Sometimes I wake up and a scene is running through my head, so I throw on a robe and run in and write it.

When I write at night, I'm usually dressed, but I generally revise at night.

Me? I write in my pajamas. ;)

I know, I know. The quintessence of glam, that's me!

Though I did let my mom wash the Chargers sweatshirt, after that epic beat-down of the Titans last night. I figured they didn't need the extra good look for Washington next week.

Oh, and whoever said he goes out to the gym and puts his pj's back on? Me too.

I should clarify, since I am old enough to do my own laundry (heh!) -- I'm visiting my folks -- my mom saw the grubby condition of the sweatshirt and took it away from me. You know, some things never change...

Considering I sleep in my clothes from the day before, I suppose you could say I write in my pyjamas. Sometimes I do change first. Depends when Calliope, Melpomene and Clio decided to come knocking. And how kind they're being.

Haha, cute question. :) I do most of my writing at work or train stations, so there's that answer. ;)

PJs definitely.

Actually, on days when I don't have to go anywhere I usually just stay in my pajamas. I get up, do the whole brushing teeth and such thing, and just stay in them (I usually shower at night because my hair is a total frizz-ball if I don't sleep on it). It just doesn't make sense to me to dirty another set of clothes just to sit around the house.

But if I was forced to change into "real" clothes for whatever reason, I'll write in those. I hate the process of changing clothes in general and I refuse to even buy clothes that I'm not comfortable in, so it's not like it's an inconvenience.

Team PJ all the way :-)

Maybe I'm being frightfully British here...but I prefer to get up, get dressed (into something co-ordinated), brush my teeth, do my hair and make up (lipstick included), have some toast and coffee and THEN I'm ready to write - phew!

Somehow if I feel untidy and messy my writing becomes untidy and messy too.

But then again, it could simply be stalling tactics like the oh-my-room-needs-a-good-tidy-phenomenom, just before revising for exams!
