My personal favorite is "The best of times" from La Cage aux Folles!

The Phantom of the Opera, hands down. Anything related to the story of the Phantom of the Opera (particularly the original novel and Susan Kay's novel) is a favorite of mine. I was introduced to it through ALW's musical, though, when I was very young. Like six. I just saw the show for the first time last week and it only cemented my love for the story and show.

Plus, it's just an amazing song, consistently sung by amazing people.

That song comes just before the intermission. After seeing her fly like that, and belting out those notes...you walk out into the lobby and all the women are crying. Then they...*ahem*...we rush the concession stands to buy "Defying Gravity" t-shirts. Good times.

Absolutely anything from The Phantom of the Opera

From its sequel, I'd go with:

"Til I Hear You Sing," "Beneath a Moonless Sky," "The Beauty Underneath," both versions of "Devil Take the Hindmost," and, of course, "Love Never Dies."

Sierra Boggess is great, but if you get the chance, listen to Ayaka Hirahara's version . . . it's absolutely gorgeous. ^-^

Wicked and Phantom are by far my favorite Broadway plays. I love any of the songs from them. (I lived Loathing, from Wicked.) And any song (except Marius and Cosette's love themes) from Les Mis.
