Thanks everyone. I checked online the other day and it says this agents "normal" response time on requested material is 3-4 months. *sigh*

I'm trying to distract myself by writing more!

Just keep writing. Move on to the next project or a (sometimes) quicker short story. Start developing other characters you can become immersed in.

I'm four times zones behind New York, where most agents I've queried are, so I have the odd experience of waking up to rejections/requests. Talk about starting a day off really right or really wrong.
