Hi all -
A new site has just appeared that I thought readers of Nathan's blog might appreciate - http://www.theliteraryplatform.com/about/
Courtesy of the site: "The Literary Platform is dedicated to showcasing projects experimenting with literature and technology. It brings together comment from industry figures and key thinkers, and encourages debate." Sounds like it's worth keeping an eye on - may give you a heads up as to when exactly you'll need to bow to our coming electronic overlords...

Further to my link, some of you may like to check this article out -- a digital-embracing writer's view on what the publishers of the future should be offering writers. Good stuff. Nathan, would love to hear your thoughts...

Re: Interesting new site - The Literary Platform
Yeah, I think that second article gets at how I see publishers evolving in the new era - as an indispensable package of services. There's a lot more that goes into making and marketing a book than just writing it, and someone has to do that. Most authors aren't equipped to do that. Publishers will still be vital in the new era, even if they're not as indispensable as they used to be.
