Should you buy a license for a book?

Post by jenniferjbennett » April 4th, 2010, 2:59 pm

I'm getting so sick and tired of people getting so bothered by the digital prices and licenses. How about this idea... When you purcahse a hardcover book you get a code for the digital format of your choice as well as the audio. Publishers can charge a higher price and buyers get what they want... I'm all for the idea. Sure some author might pull larger amounts for the book, but just like any computer license... you have that right to use any format you want. It puts control back into the buyers hand.

Sounds like a good way to bundle. I see alot of video games that work this way.
