The Complete Guide to Hiring a Literary Agent

Post by writeitsideways » February 10th, 2010, 5:57 pm

Hey all,

Laura Cross of "About a Screenplay" gave me a PDF copy of her new book, "The Complete Guide to Hiring a Literary Agent," http://www.scenariowritingstudio.com/co ... ary-agent/ to give away on my blog.

She gave me a copy of my own to read through, and I really enjoyed it. A lot of the information might be stuff many of us at this forum already know, but the best part is that it contains a bunch of query and synopsis examples. It's just a really great resource.

Anyway, I put up a post about the book giveaway, and there are only about 5 responses at the moment. I guess a lot of beginning writers aren't thinking that far ahead just yet, or maybe they think they'll never need an agent.

So, knowing everyone here will be looking for an agent sooner or later, I thought you might be interested. If so, just leave a comment on my site (and no, I'm not an affiliate of Laura Cross).

Thanks :)

Hello,

I'm closing the contest now, but you can still check out Laura's website if you want to buy a copy.

Thanks,

Suzannah
