Sadly, I almost never make it to these forums anymore, where my career as a writer really got started. Happily, there's always March Madness to bring me back!

This year has been a terrible terrible basketball year for my team and I've not watched much out of conference. BUT it's on! I know who is most likely to win but I refuse to put my least favorite team as the champion. Nope. Can't. Won't. Nope.

Veela must be talking about Kentucky and Louisville. Don't worry, Veela, Pitino ain't making the final four!

I'm hoping not. As a Kentucky fan who lives in Louisville...yeah I just don't want to cope with that. If anybody says anything rude I plan to tell them to talk to me when they have half as many NCAA titles as we do. (And at half they'd still be 4 behind).

Last year I was in the mix until the title game, which was my best bracket performance by far. I'm hoping to see a return of the magic this time around!

For anyone looking for one resource to watch the games online (I think you'll need Microsoft Silverlight): http://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live/ ... qIWimr6LaO

Pretty interesting there haven't been any big upsets yet. Marquette just about got bounced but squeaked through.

so far all my wrong ones don't spread to other layers of the bracket! whoohoo!
my overall winner hasn't played yet, though.

Well Harvard pretty well broke my bracket, but I'm cool with it, because they've never won a game in the tournament before. And my mom went to Radcliffe.

Harvard didn't hurt me too bad, as I had Arizona stopping New Mexico's run. But I had UNLV getting to the sweet 16, so seeing them drop to Cal is rough.

Edit: Hit 'Submit' and saw that Wisconsin just fell to Ole Miss. Now THAT hurt.

I know the 5/12 match up is a common upset, but isn't 3 out of 4 this year? Crazy!
