Is it time for an Easter party? Nathan doesn't work on Sunday, right? His office will be vulnerab- I mean available, right?

*looks up from cramming live eels into plastic eggs* I can probably help decorate. *looks at urn of eels* Or provide refreshments. Either/or.

Oh, a little bit of both, please!

I ordered bunny rabbits. Lots and lots of bunny rabbits. Get this - instead of dyeing eggs (everyone does that) we dye the bunnies and have a contest for most colorful bunny! I wanted to make sure we didn't run out of bunnies, so I ordered them from all over the country. Some even shipped early. Do you think Nathan will notice if I put them in the copy room? Oh. Ew, those aren't brown M&Ms, are they? [spritzes with fabreeze and closes the copy room door]

Hey Margo, I believe you posted on my blog and asked me if I posted in the forums. Now I've found you!

Strangely enough, my husband's family ditched us for Easter and my mom is out of state, so we are SOLO for the holiday. I bought a comically small ham and probably too many vegetables. I am tempted to buy one of those ridiculous bunny ice cream cakes that Baskin Robbins keeps advertising. They're like 30 bucks but soooo good.

Oooh, can I Bedazzle a few of the bunnies? Bedazzled bunnies are so retro-futuristic-infomercial cool.

Count me in! I'm always ready for a party. I AM TOTALLY ROCK AND ROLL.

Also, I am making these:

If I haven't consumed enough sugar to fuel a rocketship by Sunday, I am doing it wrong.

Sommer, those cupcakes are liked baked goods skeleton keys...they will open any door you need to go through! I can't stop staring at them.

OMG, Sommer, I swear I just gained 5 pounds licking the screen. mmmmm!

Hey Margo, I thought we were crashing Sierra's new place? No? viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3588

Either way, I'll bring the bacon-wrapped chocolate. Oh, and can you bedazzle a few bunnies in yellow for me? thanks!

And just in time for the party!

I'm concerned that if we start bedazzling the actual bunnies PETA will show up, and bedazzler-involved-violence might ensue. So I suggest we have two separate contests. One for dyed bunnies (biodegradable dye, of course). And one for bunny costumes, which can either mean a bunny dressed in a costume (like little bedazzled hot pants with matching bolero jacket) or a human in a bunny costume (which could also be bedazzled).

On a side note, has anyone seen the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch? I borrowed it from the Python Museum, but I seem to have misplaced it. As long as no one gave it to a bunny, we should be fine.

Robin, I thought maybe we should give Sierra a little while to settle in before we start holding wild parties at her new digs. Plus the bunny dye might get on the carpet. On the other hand, I'm sure Nathan won't kno- um, mind. Nathan won't mind.

Eeep! Am I late? Is there any of Sommer's awesome cakes left? Pleeeaaaaase! Also. I brought a turkey! I thought it'd be really in line with the current holiday.

... What do you mean I have the wrong holiday? Easter?! Why is there a foot of snow outside, then? (<---- that's probably just me, though)

So. OK. Easter. That explains the highly-coloured bunnies running around. Is the red one having sex with the blue one? Will that give us purple baby bunnies?

Oh, you poor confused Northerners. Y'all should come down to the Southwest, it's sunny and 85 today...On second thought, don't come down. We have enough snowbirds around here as it is.

Hey, if this is an Easter party, where are the peeps?! We'll need a few dozen of 'em and a couple of microwaves. Nothing's more fun than watching a peep explode in the microwave! (Just don't mistake a dyed bunny for a peep...that could get messy.)

Wait...what's this...I think I just found some leftover tinsel and a Cthuhlu-shaped Santa costume under Nathan's desk. That'll really mess Claudie up! It's ThanksEasterMas!!

Anything Cthuhlu is bound to mess me up! And you know what? I've never tried putting a peep in a microwave. Fun times will be had this weekend. :D

Will we do an egg hunt? I haven't done that in years. OH, wait, BETTER, we could do a dyed bunny hunt! Hide them in Nathan's desk's drawyers.

Uh, well, we are kind of already doing a bunny hunt. They staged an escape from the copy room. Don't go in there. The guys from the CDC are cleaning it up now. I'm not sure if they can save the copy machine.

Fun Fact! Thanks to Easter, I grew up convinced rabbits laid eggs. Boy was I embarressed when I found out the truth. In science class.
