These people really love steampunk. How far would you go for your love of something?

That's pretty awesome-- everything looked tasteful and beautifully made.

I want that guy's hat and goggles!!!

And the cake. Wow. That's impressive. I think Prince William should do a steampunk themed wedding. Wouldn't that be fun? ;)

Wow, I hate theme weddings, but I hafta say THAT would be cool.

Edit: Okay, I have to take back my theme-hating remark. The web site for the cake maker has some FAB art nouveau cakes.

I wish I'd have considered something steampunkish when Ryan and I got married. I like theme weddings :-) I mean, ones like this. I like when there is something the bride and groom are passionate about together that comes out at the wedding. It is so much more fun than traditional.

We did have a castle shaped wedding cake instead of a traditional teired wedding cake. It was awesome. But I really do love steampunk. I'm sad it never crossed my mind.

I'd like to see more steampunk and cyberpunk books.

That is total class! I love the steampunk esthetic. The only thing that bugs me a bit is (oddly?) the blue cog applique on the groom's shoulder. What's that about?
