Cookie, you and I should collaborate. We WILL find you Margo (in a totally NOT creepy sounding way).
And the secret will be safe with us. Until someone bribes us and our wills are tested. But we'll still keep it seekrit. Probably...

Thanks Sleeping Beauty, Margo and Cookie! I'm so excited for this story. It was one of the fun ones.

Congrats Margo! That's AWESOME. But we already knew you were awesome, so can't say I'm surprised

Although that doesn't make the news any less amazing!

I thought I would be less excited as time went on, but I'm not.
The pen name is now:
A top 10 indie author with one distributor, with multiple top 20 titles in the subgenre;
A featured author with two distributors (no, I didn't pay for that);
Featured in a newsletter that goes out to tens of thousands of subscribers (also not a paid advertisement).
Part of my squeeing is that I'm excited. Part is so people will know this is possible (and not as rare as some people would have you think...if you put in the writing time and follow the advice of other successful writers).
Edit: And in case anyone is wondering, I don't do free, 99-cents, or $2.99 novels.

You so deserve to be excited! That's amazing. Though, considering the quality of your Dis stories, I can't say I'm surprised.
And thanks. It's great to hear that it really can happen!

Thanks, Mira.
Actually, I kind of like that I can say
none of my sales came from friends or family feeling obligated to buy my titles.

LOL. Sorry, no. I have no personal experience with $1.99, but I hear from other writers that it doesn't work very well for them.

You should be busy writing.
