German shepards were like sort of our family dogs. Most of my family kept them but when we saw that little I mean big lol white fur ball we couldn't resist!
I bet, he sounds really cute. I use to have a German Shepard Siberian Husky mix, she sounds like the one you described earlier.

Please ignore the chest hair and the sunburn, we were visiting my sister in Palm Springs. I didn't realize she had gotten so fat, that picture makes her look huge! Her name was Kaya. Not quite as cute as Nesta, but she was pretty old by that time.

A question for Matthew: Do you still have those couches? :) There is nothing more destructive than puppy teeth!

Hah, you're right about that. Yes we still have them and they are in decent shape. They are a kind of microfiber that's like imitation suede I guess. Nesta does try to bite them but we do a good job of keeping an eye on her and she sleeps in a crate/cage at night until she is full grown and house broken, so there are some marks and blemishes but overall they're pretty good.

We also have 3 cats and they're claws are powerful tools of destruction but they mostly go after the floorboards and door jambs, plus they stay upstairs, scared of the puppy I guess.

Hahaha. My daughters new cat has totally ruined my new couch! Grrrr. And she even has a scratching post! But a new puppy we had several years back chewed up my brand new coffee table. Pets! Gotta love em', right? ;-)

You asked for it. I suggest you put on your anti-cute shades and brace yourself...he's got a way of winding people around those little paws of his.
