Hi all,
Just saw this over on the Guardian website. Gives hope to writers of all ages, though I'm sure most of us would like to believe we won't have to wait until we are 82 years old to get that elusive publishing deal:

Also saw this, which details how some publishers are taking advantage of the apps market to provide DVD-like "bonus material" for some novels by brand-name authors like Iain Banks. I wonder how this will take off -- it's a good idea in principle, and at the moment the apps are free. Personally, I'm behind this as a concept. But is this a novelty and a passing fad -- or will this soon be the universal standard for every book?

Until next time...

I'm thinking that an author's website is a good place or DVD-like extras, and I'll likely do something like that once I'm published.

This is cool - the 82 year old author gives me great hope. I'm not quite there yet, so it gives me some time. :)
And yes, I think interactive e-books, in some form or other, are the future. Should be fun.! :)
