JACOB WONDERBAR AND THE COSMIC SPACE KAPOW
JACOB WONDERBAR AND THE COSMIC SPACE KAPOW
Just a thought...have you considered using an exclamation point? "JACOB WONDERBAR AND THE COSMIC SPACE KAPOW!"
In any case, good luck with the book. I'm a huge fan of your blog and long yearned for said forum.
Well, said forum now says it all!
Grazi...multo beni!

Ha - never thought about that!
To exclaim or not to exclaim, that is the question.
Thanks so much, and glad you're enjoying the forum!

You're welcome...
Yeah, it's the Kapow part that seems desirous of an exclamation...so to speak.
But either way, I'm sure it'll be superfrabtastic!

I'd buy a book with a ! in the title. Just because of the !

Maybe Kapow could be a different font on the book cover. Bigger and bolder.
Bookstore Scenario:
Kid walks through rows and rows of books.
Kid's head is slumped and his eyes scan the nothingness until....
KA--F*$%N--POW!

To be honest, I thought precisely the very same thing! I just didn't want to overwhelm the Nathan-meister with too many criticisms/suggestions (even relatively small ones).
But definitely a good point!

The cover is all up to the publisher, so I don't have too much say on that!
Re: JACOB WONDERBAR AND THE COSMIC SPACE KAPOW
I am so getting this book for my son when it comes out. There's not enough good stuff out there for boys in my opinion so I can't wait. I hope you're planning on doing more in that genre :)

I don't think this will be Jacob Wonderbar's last adventure.kristi wrote:I am so getting this book for my son when it comes out. There's not enough good stuff out there for boys in my opinion so I can't wait. I hope you're planning on doing more in that genre :)

Yes, I must admit that I definitely visualize a Marvel Comic's KAPOW! when I read that title.

Are you allowed to tell us what "the cosmic space kapow" is?
Is it the name of a planet?
Should we play 100 questions?

"Well, when you break the universe..."
Dude, this is potentially a great line for marketing! (Assuming it isn't already being used as such. And I don't necessarily mean paid for by your publisher...although, given the right publisher, who knows. I certainly wouldn't dismiss mentioning it to them out of hand).
You can use this for guerrilla 'on-line' marketing...say, if you're ever a guest blogger, you can use this as a tag line.
You can use it as a title of any posts you make on any other forums you visit...
You can use it on this very website (judicially placed).
You can use it whenever you mention the book.
You can put it on the book's cover (back/front?)...given a fairly enlightened publisher.
The possibilities are endless...(Which you may--or may not--want to combine with your original tag line: "Well, when you break the universe...the possibilities are endless."
Good luck!
