What characters make you totally swoon?

What makes them so irresistible?

What would you change about them?

One more- do you like them naughty or nice?

1. Jamie Frasier (Outlander, Gabaldon)
2. Ya, ken? I love the way he talks to Claire, "Woman, why can't ya stay where I tell ye?"
3. The Randall part- ugh!! (he gives himself in prison)
4. I like that fact that he is a naughty Scot!

Jericho Barrons in Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. We still don't know if he's a good guy or a bad guy (I'm leaning toward bad guy with good intentions) but he's just so yummy!! Any guy who comes to a woman's rescue in a hot car and black leather gets my vote. Oh, and he's got a sexy Irish accent. :)

When I was fourteen it was Howard Roark..... (heaven help all fourteen year old girls)... but I've moved on to a more banned word stance (thank heavens!) and am smitten with Mikael Bloomkvist!

lestat.

1) he's sexy.

2) he's suave.

3) he's a rock star.

i'd just change how in the later books he gets all emo and depressed. i LOVED the lestat in interview with the vampire, and then when i got to know him through the vampire lestat, i was hooked. i want that lestat back!

i loves 'em naughty.

Is it strange that I can't think of a character that I want, but instead have a running list of characters I want to be?

I don't think so. I only have the one character that I just swoon over, but I have a huge list of characters that I really want to be as well. That's one reason why I love to read, because it lets me live vicariously through someone else's adventure with their strengths and weaknesses.

I'm sure not many people have read this series but top on my "I want to be" list is Jilseponie from R.A. Salvatore's DemonWars series. Strong, beautiful, intelligent, witty, and a warrior...what's not to love? And the male lead, Elbryan, is pretty tasty himself. Forgot about him. :-P
