I've been using Firefox with only minor issues, so that's another data point in favor of this theory.
Same here.

Nevertheless, I'm slowly trying to move to wordpress. Wicked & Tricksy + Past experiences are convincing me.

Has anyone else seen a big spike in blog traffic in the last two days? Like, there's not reason for this, I haven't added a new post, triple or quadruple what I'd expect on a post day kind of spike? Is Blogger screwed up again?

Yeah, I thought maybe it was followers catching up or something, but if it isn't just me I'm guessing that's not it.

Yep, my stats say I've had 26 hits today, that's 13 times more than I expect on days I actually post.

Blogger's tracking stats are really poor. It counts all sorts of bots, doube/triple counts page views -- and then completely misses some traffic, even some people who leave comments.

Something like Google Analytics or GetClicky will give you better data (though not in real time).
