New font for a dream scene?

Post by jojocookie » December 16th, 2011, 3:50 pm

I have seen this in novels. The use of a different font for a dream scene. Do the rules change when the time comes to submit the MS? Should I stick with Times New Roman throughout? Also are webdings out of the question? Thought I would put them in to show the scene has changed. I have seen this also.

Unless changing fonts is integral to the story I'd probably avoid it. But ultimately it's up to you - the story itself is a much more important factor.
