Heifer International

Nathan,

I hope your new gig at CNET is going well!

I was wondering if you'll be supporting Heifer International again, like last year? I was hoping to run a comment contest (like I did last year) to raise awareness for Heifer (and donate another Llama!), but if you were participating, I'd like to synch up and run at the same time (not that your 5,000+ follower blog needs help from my wee one, but together is still stronger, right?).

Hi Susan,

Yes, I was planning on doing the same promotion. Great minds! I don't have the exact week scheduled, but will have a better sense in the coming weeks.

Well, I jumped the gun (what can I say? I'm impatient!). My WRITERS GIVE HOPE campaign will go through December 21st, and I hope folks will stop by to help me give away some llamas and spread awareness for Heifer International. :)

I've been a long-time supporter of Heifer International. I love the concept behind the donation. I like the idea of giving someone a chance at a livelihood instead of a basic handout. It's been great for my son, too. He likes picking out which animals we will donate. He tends to go for a menagerie. :) Great organization to give to.

I know, the kids really get into it! And I love the concept too. I hope you'll stop by!

Done!

And I encourage everyone to go to Susan's blog and leave a comment. She'll donate a dollar to Heifer International for every comment up to $150. Let's make her pay!!
