POD, ebook, or both???

Post by a-scribe28 » September 22nd, 2014, 9:29 pm

Hi, I'm a first time author currently working on a manuscript for my fantasy novel. I was wondering on what would be the best and most profitable route for me to go when releasing my book, publish on demand, ebook, or both? and what company would you recommend, I have searched for weeks at many self publishing sites such as, amazon kdp, createspace, bookbaby, smashwords, ingramsparks, ect. I really don't wish to spend thousands of dollars on getting my first book off the ground, and wanted your advice, thanks.

For my guide to writing a novel, I used KDP for Kindle, went direct to Nook and Kobo, used CreateSpace for the print version, and used Smashwords for all the rest.
