What you are facing is probably unlike anything any of the rest of us have ever faced and I'm not sure I can adequately tell you how much I feel for you right now except to say that you've given so much to us over time and if there is anything, absolutely anything we can do for you in return now, please tell us. Keep us updated on what you feel comfortable with, and I hope that we are able to give you a little bit of support on the tough road you've got ahead.

::hugs::
May the word counts be ever in your favor. http://www.sommerleigh.com

My Friends Here,
This is the scariest thing I have ever felt. AND, it makes the creative projects I am trying to complete ever more important.
Thank you for the support. I mean, there you are and then stuff happens. Be careful to protect yourselves. Seriously. LIFE itself is the most important along with the ones you love who also love you. I plan to put my stories out. I hope to live to. It's a weird way to have to juggle this all. I'll know more after next week. This is way too personal and I'm sorry to have spilled it here, but you guys are the BEST! THANKS.

Oh no. The big "C" word. I think no word is scarier. Now is the time to gather those you love around you and draw from their strength. And please, if you have time or the inclination, drop in here and draw strength and encouragement from us. We are behind you - if not physically, then certainly in spirit.

Friends,
I am so deeply touched by the outpouring of support and kind words here.
Thank you.
Part of me is sorry to have gone public with my fears here,
as if writing about it out loud might make it more (too) real.

I like stories with happy endings. :D And I'm not done yet.

So if I request that this thread comes down, please do not think for a moment
I will ever stop appreciating your taking the time to think about me.
I just want to also think that I'm sticking to the forum, where I so appreciate the camaraderie of other writers here
and I try to be very thoughtful here and stick to topic.
(except of course the fun fooling around in the Procrastination threads which are brilliant, Nathan!)

I guess I'll let it sit awhile and see how it feels to be out here and visible with such a scare. Let me know your thoughts on this if you have any.

My kindest wishes to you all and after this week, maybe I'll have better news.
Thank you again.
