Three Minute Fiction

Post by cheekychook » September 12th, 2010, 9:46 pm

Not sure if this should go in the writing forum or the procrastination forum since it's a bit of both....

NPR is having its latest Three Minute Fiction contest---the basic rule is that you have to write piece of fiction that can be read in three minutes or less and is 600 words or less---For this particular contest the story must start with the line:

"Some people swore that the house was haunted."

Plus, your story must end with this line:

"Nothing was ever the same again after that."

Hmm...looks fun. I think I'll do it. I'll take any excuse to avoid editing my current WIP.
