Thanks for your patience as we've dealt with a marked increase in spam. I'm soon going to be installing an update to the forum code that is supposed to help resolve this, but thanks for your patience in the meantime. If you see Spam please continue to just flag it and don't reply to the post, and Bryan or I will deal with it as soon as we can.

As annoying as spam is, it just goes to show what a great busy vibrant forum you have. All the spammers want to get on this forum! :)

And the forumites get to play whack-a-spam with the report button. It's great stress relief!

I feel like I do battle with clutches and jeans and handbag spambots every day! I think I'm going to have to upgrade my rayguns soon to something with a little more kick.

Be careful, though: Those little blue magic tablets have been known to pack quite a punch.

There are so many spambots out today! An army of them. Like, a whole PLANET of them.

Well, yeah. (Who's going to argue with someone carrying a Telsa Cannon?) But you should just steal one, like I did! That way, you don't have to put up with Brotherhood attitude. (Okay, so yeah, I did work with the Brotherhood in Fallout 3. They do have supercool equipment, and less attitude in D.C. than in Nevada.)

Okay, so after a seriously long time dealing with spam (special thanks to Sommer for her whac-a-mole efforts), I finally was able to spend an afternoon updating the board code, fixing a few issues manually, and created a new spam question that will hopefully have the spambots confused for a while.

KNOCK ON WOOD but I think you should finally start seeing fewer annoying ads for Louis Vuitton, Beats Headphones, and posts that make no sense whatsoever.

I don't know what you did but OMG the decrease in spam is like going on vacation somewhere tropical where louis vuitton can't find me. I think I've deleted one spammer in the last week.
