What should these Forums be?

First off, my apologies to the regulars that we had spam assault issues and general neglect. I wasn't able to devote as much time to this as I wanted.
But: now I can!
What do you want these Forum things to be? Is a message board the best way? Should we switch over to Facebook Groups, Google+ or some other format?
