Beta reader for paranormal thriller

Post by saraflower » March 11th, 2012, 6:06 pm

I have edited my book, Possessed, about 10 times at least and I think it would be good to have a fresh pair of eyes read it and let me know what they think of the storyline and characters (A bonus if you can find some grammar errors). It is just under 57,000 words.

Here is a little excerpt:

Adeline sat on a tree stump and buried her face in her hands.

What is happening to me?

Nothing about the last few days made much sense – her aunt’s disturbing death, the voices in the dark room, the men that had burned her aunt and uncle’s home to the ground, and now the unexplainable darkness.

The sound of snapping twigs on the ground startled her.

Someone was coming.

Set in early 19th century, this story is bordering on fantasy because there is a time travel element as well. But paranormal thriller seems to be the best description for now.

Let me know if you are interested!
