Looking for partner for some Sci-Fi short story material

Critique partners are worth their weight in gold. So (checking financial page) like $20,000 a pound.

Looking for partner for some Sci-Fi short story material

Post by jzweig » May 18th, 2011, 7:23 pm

Hello All. I'm currently working on a collection of related short stories to complement a bigger novel project. I'm looking for someone who'd be willing to stick with it from beginning to end. In return I'll critique your material, be it short stories, a novel or whatnot.

Right now I'm at a low 23,000 words collectively between all the short stories so keep in mind I do not have a novel's worth of material to trade. They are science fiction/alternative world stories so it would help if you're into that as well. I like to read sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, and action adventure. I'm also willing to trade the first couple thousand words to see if we match and I'll give you more details about the overall story.

Here's a pitch in progress:

The Road of Fate is an archived account of a scientific expedition's attempt to survive a new world, and how it failed.

Thanks all. Look forward to working with someone out there :)

Hello there. Are you still looking for critiques? If so, I'm on this website http://crazywriters.freeforums.org/ where you can post your work and have it critiqued chapter by chapter (or short story by short story). We're still gaining members but I know it's going to be a great site!
What's the point in living if you can't have fun doing it?
