I wasn't thinking about the iPad as an ereader - I don't like reading for long periods on a backlit screen. lol I spend hours on a computer and I used to spend hours reading on my iTouch (and really, without the 3G, the iPad is an oversized iTouch). now I do it on the kindle and I find it easier on ...

I like OneNote from Microsoft. It is not what you would call writing software, but it works fine for it. Each "notebook" can have sections and each section can have pages. I mean, within your WIP notebook, you can have section for characters, than a page for each character and put in whate...

Libraries! They usually have whatever I want. :P I do adore libraries. But, yeah, online too. Fictionwise.com, Half.com, rarely do I use Amazon.

I don't care about the gender of the main character. In order to get a list of books published (do reprints count?) we could go to the major publishers and get a 2009 list of their catalog. or maybe there is a library that has that info. or wait, wiki does have 2009 novel list: http://en.wikipedia.o...
