What's your favourite YouTube videos?
I just love anything that is clever, and talented, and a laugh is a must. So here are a few of my favourite vids. Enjoy. Thriller (64 tracks all recorded by the same person). Tribute to Star Wars (clever and funny). Voca People. Another very talented group of singers. What do you get when you combin...

The second one only says to 'send it to the address below'. So I would assume that she still wants you to email your full (as an attachment), but to the email address listed in her second email.

FK7. Can't help you with your synopsis (I am nowhere near that stage), but since you have walking carpetsWookiees on the brain, I thought you might appreciate a little stress relief. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk5_OSsawz4.

Re: Forum Suggestions?
I noticed on the "all things writing" forum, there have been lots of language grammar and style-guide discussions recently. Seems like you could have an "all things language and word usage" forum. Long riffs on the evil adverb or the much-to-be-avoided opening a story by comment...

Hmmm. How debauched. I do believe that my hot spring primates are a tad more upper-crust than your drunk and disorderly bludgers.

Re: Monkeys vs. Bears
A friend emailed me this youtube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=590_mhAu ... re=related. Two things came to mind.
1. I wonder how many stories this clip could inspire, and
2. Hey! Nathan likes monkeys, he's gotta love this.
Sometimes monkeys can seem so human.
Enjoy.

Currently listening to Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr (http://tinyurl.com/y5enyor). Half way through, and enjoying so far.
Finished Another Faust. My verdict: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Re: What are your pet peeves about your own writing?
I've written my novel in the first person (past tense). So for me it seems that as I am editing, I am noticing way too may I's, my's and me's. It seems I must have noticed this somewhere along the writing process (this is my first attempt at writing - ever - so I know I have a lot to learn). In ord...

Re: Ask Nathan
I tried to find the answer to this question, but have had no success. Please excuse me if this one has already been covered. I have a section in my novel which I know will have copyright issues. A friend informed me that it is up to me to apply for the necessary permission to use that material. Shou...

Re: What are you reading now?
I'm trying to catch up on my reading (or should I say listening). I have a long long list of books I need, and want to read. Since I don't have a lot of time to sit down, and get totally sucked into a book (as is usually the case with me), I download and listen to books on my Ipod while I am working...

Re: Good Books - Bad Endings
I have to agree with The Lovely Bones. In fact I couldn't even finish it, even though I found the writing hypnotic. Another good book was The Adoration of Jenna Fox (I am reading a lot of YA 'cause that is what I am writing). That story had so much potential, I thoroughly enjoyed the building tensio...

Re: What are you writing now?
Mine is a YA (or should I say cross-over?) paranormal romance with very stong elements of mystery and suspense, and lots of unbelievable twists and sub-plots. Hollywood here I come. Ok, I guess I really should pull my head out of the clouds now. Have fun all.
