Re: Most Anticipated 2012 Releases
Hmmm... the two I was really looking forward to- the Fault in Our Stars and A Million Suns already came out, but I'm also really want to read: Born Wicked, Black Heart, Katana, Above, Spell Bound, Stormdancer, and the Wild Queen THE FAULT IN OUR STARS was just totally amazing. lived up to hype, for...

Re: How many books do you read per week (or month)?
It depends. Usually 3-4, but if I'm in a slump or in a writing frenzy, then it might only be 1 a week. It also depends on the size of the book too. the Count of Monte Cristo is going to take significantly longer than say the Perks of Being a Wallflower, which I can finish in a couple of hours, where...

Re: 4th Annual Blog Bracket Challenge!
[Insert profanity-laced tirade, here.] IT'S LOCKED?!?!!! Sonofamotherlessgoat! Okay, who put Notre Dame (*cough* Caitlin) and Creighton (*cough* Sommer) to win? And Syracuse? Really? Isn't their Center out on academic probation or something? Man. I *totally* should've logged on sooner. :( Off to th...

Re: Characters Who Should Have Died
I'm not going to lie, I was a little happy to see Katniss on the list. I was excited when the first book was told in present tense. I thought it'd be more powerful if she died. It would have been more powerful. I don't think I've ever seen a book written in the present tense where the MC died. I ha...

Re: Of the characters you've written, who is your favorite?
My favorite character would have to be Yo. He's proud, dramatic, flamboyant, vain, stubborn, hypocritical, contradictory, and fiercely loyal. He has a habit of stirring up trouble, and is prone to fits of jealousy. He also loves to wallow in his own sorrow, and is easily excitable. He has manic tend...

Re: Most Handsome Character in Anime
I noticed that the original post disappeared too. Weird. And if we could include video games.... Cloud Yes. Though i have to say, Squall in Kingdom Hearts, when he's voiced by David Boreanaz? Yeah...that's pretty awesome. But for me, in video games, it's Ezio Auditore. Wait, wait...in Kingdom Heart...

Re: Most Handsome Character in Anime
I think you mean manga... I've never read anime! But I think we should get Cookie over here. I have a feeling the two of you could have *quite* the conversation about anime characters! Lol. I've actually been trying to think of who I consider the most handsome, since you know there are lots. So, I'l...

Re: Condensing Your Pitch
All. The. Time. there is so much going on in my book, I never know where to begin. I usually end up saying: "It's about love, hate, war, vengeance, jealousy. You know, the usual." that way I don't have to go into specifics, or explain why I write fantasy and sci-fi. Although, I've been luc...
