Re: Book title inspiration!

Karen,

From what you wrote, the first thing that came to my mind was some sort of resurrection. Here are some ideas:
The Resurrection of Jane Doe (dont know your mc's name)
Resurrecting Jane

Re: My Brain is going to explode!

Sounds like you should get off the computer and watch tons of idiotic tv shows and movies. Reading really bad romance novels helps too... (like the thin Harlequin novels)

congrats on getting this far!

Re: Big Agent/ Little Agent

I would still consider submitting to bigger agents... Meyer submitted Twilight to Jodi Reamer at Writer's House, arguably one of the most prestigious lit agencies in New York, and got picked up. It's reported she was lucky, because it was in fact an assistant who read the MS and because of the assi...

Re: Buying A Domain and Setting Up Professional E-mail

www.godaddy.com
use the lookup tool to see if your domain ( www. comet.com or whatever) is available.
It will usually give you a green check mark if it is.
You then follow the purchase directions

Big Agent/ Little Agent

Is it a waste of time to query the larger, more popular agents whose inboxes are always flooded? Or is it better to research new agents, who've just started or just moved to another agency? What are the pros and cons? Do the more popular agents have more connections to editors and publishers? Will t...

Re: Characters that make you swoon

1. Jamie Frasier (Outlander, Gabaldon)
2. Ya, ken? I love the way he talks to Claire, "Woman, why can't ya stay where I tell ye?"
3. The Randall part- ugh!! (he gives himself in prison)
4. I like that fact that he is a naughty Scot!

Characters that make you swoon

What characters make you totally swoon?

What makes them so irresistible?

What would you change about them?

One more- do you like them naughty or nice?

Grey or Gray

Please tell me if I am correct. Grey is used to describe the color in nature, whereas gray is describing the color for non-living things.

ie. Grey wolf, gray crayon.

Re: Lost - Possible Spoilers!

I don't know about you, but I would have been throwing a lot of wood onto Jacob's tiny fire. I was thinking the same thing! LOL! I have a sick feeling the cameras will fade to black after the final scene and then JJ Abrams will appear in a PSA-type format saying, "I want to thank you for your ...

Re: How to categorize my work???

Thinking Paranormal Romance as well, unless you've dialed up the sex, then it may be erotica... You may want to check with RWA (romance writers of america) for their standards.

Best!

Re: Housewives of NY

Living in Atlanta, you hear of all the salacious tales of these bimbos. Most are broke and none are actually "housewives". With the other franchises, NJ, NY, Orange County, I feel so sorry for the kids that are caught up with these crack-head mothers (using the term loosely). Unfortunately...
