Perhaps your protagonist is an antihero.

I find the second one reads pretty well.

As for length, I think it is best to have at least two synopses; one condensed to a page and the other as long as it needs to be, a full synopsis.

I agree. Nicely succinct, but I think you need to flesh it out more. Maybe put it on a finger.

Do you actually want to blog? If not, why contemplate doing so? If so, what do you wish to blog about? To what purpose? Will you aim it at your readers (promotion) or other writers (networking)?

Gosh, why not simply perfect one's elevator pitch, and trot it out each time the question comes up?
